Conditions We Treat
Lower Back Pain
The most common reason people walk through the door. Whether it’s acute, chronic, or somewhere in between, lower back pain responds well to chiropractic care — especially when the underlying mechanics are addressed, not just the pain.
Lower back pain is the leading cause of disability worldwide — and also one of the most treatable conditions in chiropractic care. The lumbar spine bears the load of nearly every movement you make, and when joint restriction, disc pressure, or muscle imbalance accumulates, the result is pain that ranges from a dull ache to sharp, movement-limiting dysfunction.
At Spine Bar, we don’t treat lower back pain as a single diagnosis. We assess where the restriction is, what’s contributing to it — posture, movement patterns, prior injury, disc status — and address all of it. Manual adjustment to the lumbar and sacral segments, combined with targeted soft tissue work, typically produces meaningful relief within the first few visits.
Whether your pain is acute (just started), subacute (a few weeks in), or chronic (months to years), the approach is individualized. We’ll tell you what we find, what we recommend, and what realistic recovery looks like for your specific presentation.
Common causes
- Lumbar joint restriction or fixation
- Disc herniation or bulging
- Muscle guarding and spasm
- Sacroiliac joint dysfunction
- Poor posture or prolonged sitting
- Repetitive strain or lifting mechanics
